April 25 ~ After the baseball strike cancelled the 1994 season, the strike continued into the 1995 MLB season
cancelling the first 3 weeks of the season (Phillies lost 18 games due to strike in 1995 season). The 1995 season
began on Tuesday April 25 with the Florida Marlins hosting the Dodgers. The fans booed the players throughout
the game. It is of note that the MLB umpires were locked out by the owners and scab umpires were put in place.
