April 9th ~ The Phillies-Dodgers game was cancelled due to the funeral of Doctor Martin Luther King.
Originally, the Dodgers were against the postponing the ballgame, but Phladelphia would of forfeited
the game instead of playing it. It would have been the first forfeited major league game since 1954.
